Adam Byle

Hey, I’m Adam!

I’m a software developer, musician, and writer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

I’m passionate about so many things and care about first impressions—for that reason I’ve written all the text on this website myself. (Why?)

I hope by looking around you can get to know more about the things I care about and do.

Education

Veritas Academy

I graduated Veritas Academy, a small private university-style school, in 2023, among a class of fifty.

  • I’ve developed a separate web app from the ground up for performing scheduled background tasks on these models.
  • Through my work I’ve been exposed to database management systems and ORMs through Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework, cloud computing technologies through Microsoft Azure, and the containerization tool Docker.

Personal

Hackathon participation

I participated in and won two university department programming competitions, where teams or individuals worked to solve as many programming challenges in a few hours.

Hack the Lab

I participated in Hack the Lab at Michigan Labs and won (by over a factor of 10 points versus second place!) with my good friend Nick Roberts. The competition was won without the use of AI.
